The FLEX is a patent-pending, handle mounted DSLR remote unit that triggers HD video start and stop recording for Canon 5D/7D. The FLEX’s unique gooseneck arm houses an optic to be positioned within line of sight to the remote sensor on the Canon cameras (transmits up to 1m away, 135deg spread).
Once positioned, the remote transmits a signal through the optic when the button is depressed.
The arm can be extended up to 12" and coils down to approximately 3" in diameter. The FLEX's all metal construction will standup to the everyday rigors of HD DSLR video production. Max clamp diameter 1.5". Powered by 2 included AAA batteries.

The Z-Finder is Zacuto’s Optical Viewfinder that allows DSLR cameras to have the correct form factor for video. It offers 3x focusable magnification, a 40mm diameter lens, an eyecup preventing extraneous light leakage, and a field of view perfectly matched to LCD screens. With Optics by Schneider, this 6 oz viewfinder is a filmmaker’s best tool for creating precision focus. The Z-finder currently fits the Canon 5d, Canon 7d, Nikon D90, Panasonic GF1, Panasonic GH1 (see note below), and many other cameras. The Zacuto lanyard and lanyard hook are for the Zacuto Z-Finder, dslr optical viewfinder. The lanyard hook screws into the side (left or right) of the Z-Finder and allows you to attach the lanyard on. The lanyard is used as a security measure when shooting handheld to assure that the Z-Finder doesn't hit the ground when it gets bumped. Also, the lanyard is nice for when you want to take the Z-Finder off and on quickly.

The Z-Bands are just a security measure to hold the z-finder in place in case of accidental bumping just like the lanyard. The mounting frame and the Z-Bands must be used together. The Z-bands include 4 red aluminum balls and two elastic bands.
